So last night, just before bed, I was walking Justin through a sun salutation - trying to recall exactly what order different moves went in. He touches toes, and he stretches up and back - something we do 12 times a day, three days a week. I start telling him how to go down into the next position, and he goes down. Boom. Lands on his face and nose. Looks like he was punched. Said he got dizzy. Looked like he was goofing off, flopping around like he did when he was a toddler.

So this evening, as I pulled into our neighborhood, I had a coughing fit. Vision went pins-and-needly, white noisish around the edges, leaving a color-shifted oval that got smaller and smaller. Everything seemed to slow down. Not sure if the car actually did or not. Before the car straightened out, vision was back.

Going from standing forward bend (touching toes) to upward salute (standing upright arms up) often makes people feel dizzy. I have low blood pressure and would not be able to do that. I always have to go through fierce pose first. Tadottanulllola

What gets me is that forward bend, stand, arch-back exercise has been one of the core parts of this and previous workouts, so it was a complete surprise. It wasn't like he was trying anything new...
