So, if any one ever says "kiss me where the sun don't shine" and it is between November 11th and February 2nd, now you know where to take them to make it happen...
Surely the town must have gotten a clue about that particular undocumented feature of their landscape after the first few decades. Dingbats. Why don't they just move to somewhere the sun does shine?
Nearly three months out of the year with no direct sunlight is ridiculous. They might as well move to the arctic or antarctic. That village would be a great place to be a vampire, though.
:: fondly remembering local Italian eatery Pane e' Vino, which is now under new ownership, and may or may not serve garlic knots that were more garlic than not, if you know what I mean ::
I wonder if they all suffer from winter depression (lack of sunlight) only worse. There was an italian town in Roman times, maybe still is, partly built into overhanging cliffs looking over a river and vally, forgot the name, in the wilder hilly country with lots of gorges not too far from Rome. Must look it up.
