Yep. It's actually raining. All day yesterday, all day today (thus far.) Considering we were getting parched earth syndrome - I mean the roadside weeds are practically going all saguaroish. Now, flooding warnings are popping up left and right.

Hmph. "Rats" sounds better, would make a good title for a horror story, yes? no? Maybe adding a cat that has a name that's not currently politically correct, and a set of steps that lead downwards... but were not cut from the green and pleasant fields down, but were cut in cyclopean chunks, from the foul depths upward... err, where was I? Oh, yeah. Field mice. Living in the walls, and active in the early morning hours. Hopefully, I'll be able to get the cats to hang out in the back, and they'll patrol some of the ins and outs that the mice use.
