Graceful, 2008
seasons wane
By Everett A Warren
words drift downward
like leaves
dancing with gravity
somewhere between laughter and tears
whispers cling tenaciously
like mists
obscuring tomorrows
somewhere between hope and despair
offerings
of light and love
filter through the trees
sunbeams that flicker and fade
elusively retreating with each step
what does darkness bring as seasons wane
like dreams
upon the waking
somewhere between sunshine and falling rain
