Definitely a toddler now - toddling all around, generally towards whatever object we don't want him to have. The boy has radar for it. His favorite Holy Grail is the TV remote control - not the Playstation, or the stereo, or the VCR (although he will settle for those if he can get them,) but the silver TV clicker. He will grab it despite its many guardians, and hold it aloft, throwing his head back with a laugh of triumph and a grin at least a quarter mile wide.

Me: Are your desks arranged in lines, or in groups?
Rachel: I don't know. I just had a traumatic day, you know.
Me: I thought it was a good day?
Rachel: It was, but still...
Deb: Were do you sit? In the front, middle, or back?
Rachel: In the back of the room. We were able to choose our seats.
Deb: Who do you sit with?
Rachel: I sit with my friend Brianna. Our desks are in a group.
Deb: Does anyone else sit in your group?
Rachel: Thankfully, no.
