Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing

This has long been my favorite recording of Jimi's Little Wing - Stevie's instrumental performance, originally released on The Sky Is Crying.

The footage for this video includes blues and R&B legends and not-quite-legendary (yet) but enthusiastic performers, memorabilia, and key locations in the musical history interspersed with behind-the-scenes shots from the Fender guitar factory. There's even some footage of Stevie in there... and Jimi... although I suppose you could count them both in that "legends" category... =)

The song itself, the arrangement and performance presented here, and the video footage all add up to an excellent homage to the guitar:
