Why I Will Never Give Company Y Money

They pay somebody for pop-under ads.

Not as evil as pop-up ads, or take-over-your-browser-so-you-can't-click-anywhere ads, but they still tick me off.

Now, they do have some level of success as I am noticing the company they are advertising.

And, in the any-publicity-is-good-publicity school of thought, I can clearly say that Company Y is so dead to me on account of their decision to waste money pissing me off that I will never spend a dime on them and I won't even use their name here.

Wouldn't want anyone to see their name in this rant and then decide to throw money their way.

Open a web page, close the window, see a small ad in a separate window that was hiding under the browser window.

Company Y is a zillion companies. I automatically close them and never bother to read them. They're like gnats.
