take the WHAT BAD BOOK ARE YOU test.

and go to mewing.net. not as good as reading a good book, but way better than a bad one.

I notice that I happened to like the bad book [livejournal.com profile] popfiend was and this one as well. Based on some of the other results I've seen in this meme, as well as the tone of the questions, I think perhaps a different major would have been more suitable for its author - English just doesn't work well for those who lack basic reading and writing (specifically: capitalization) skills. =)

I have to agree. It was a poorly written meme - worse than some of the "what type of goth are you?" ones.

I expect the quizwriter went to college for the parties and took English because they wanted to skate through without doing any work.

They didn't seem to enjoy much of anything.

I think each of the quiz answers was designed to rail against a specific book. Maybe multiples.

What do they consider a good book? Dan Brown? Stephen King? The Mr. Men series?

Oy.

Yeah i knew people like that. My cousin's former fiance was an English major because he thought it would be easy and he could just read cliff notes (he really said this). Of course, he was also the guy who, when we all went to dinner one night, asked our waitress, who had a thick Irish brogue, where she was from.

Her: County Cork
Him: County Cork? Where's that? The Bronx?

Luckily my cousin did NOT marry him.

lol...see my post of the meme...

Unfortunately, that's probably the type of book they actually like...

Pan's Labrynth or the original Labrynth (1986)? I like both, but Pan's Labrynth is kind of creepy. It could fracture someone's sanity in a couple of days.

Both great movies!

I don't quite now if Pan's Labyrinth would fracture my sanity, though.

I wonder: did all meme takers come out with Beowulf? I purposefully answered each question differently than your choices, yet got the same result. Not worth copying it to my site, I still laughed at the choices which seemed to have very little connections to the topic.
