Mr B Retells the Story of Noah's Ark

"They marching up in here." Walks lion & Noah up the entry ramp. Smacks 'em into the ark at the last minute. Hand of God, I'd guess, giving them a little encouragement.

"And then they ate potatoes and cheese."

Me: "Did they have chives?"

"No. No they didn't know what chives were."

Me: "Oh, that's too bad."

"Yes, very unfortunate."

Me: "Did they have butter?"

"Yes. They had lots and lots and lots of butter."

Me: "How about sour cream?"

"No sour cream and no chives. But they had lots of potatoes. And they mashed them up with garlic. And they had a salad. And they ate it all up for many days. The End."

Dumps animals and Noah out of toy ark.

"And they marched up." Smacks them in again, sending them careening around inside the ark.

"And he climbs in and he slided and... waaaa!" Launches another one in.

"And Noah is going to stay in because it's his ark. Oh. I broke it. Oh, you need to ix it." As Noah, whose voice is apparently an octave or two above Mr. B's speaking voice: "Oh, you broke it! You need to ix it!" In his regular voice, while carrying the ark to me: "Daddy, can you fix this for me?"

most impressive that he knows what chives are
