Badlands - Winter's Call
Jul. 30th, 2009 08:05 amAlthough often clumped in with hair bands, Badlands has more of the blues about them, both in their music, and, unfortunately, in the story of the band itself.
Although I never really heard it referred to as a "supergroup", it really was: the late Ray Gillen, formerly of Black Sabbath, on vocals; guitarist Jake E. Lee, Ozzy's guitarist on Bark at the Moon
and The Ultimate Sin
; bassist Greg Chaisson who played with Ron Keel and Yngwie J. Malmsteen's as Steeler; and Eric Singer, who played with Black Sabbath and then go on to play with kiss.
Here's the band with a tune from their 1989 album, Badlands
