I completely misremember the names of the birds you said you had heard when you were over at the cookout - and I'm doing this as a post so I don't lose track again! =)

One of them was a Red-eyed Vireo. I know I heard another one that I didn't see, but I can be forgetful too. I'll think about it and let you know if I remember. I saw a Blue Jay too.

I saw a single turkey on the way home, by the way, in a field just before the tunnel on the turnpike. It looked kind of odd standing out there all by itself.
