A vision
from a pinnacle
no wonder they can’t see
Far below they lie
beneath the masses
their sight is limited and impure
A breath
of fresh air
no stagnation here
Far below they swelter
complaints are groundless
there is plenty for all to share
I hold you in my hands and crush you at a whim
I walk on water when you drown beneath my feet
A dream
made incarnate
no failures to mar the way
Far below they wonder
but their tongues are tied
where they will never be left behind
I force you to bear my weight as I climb higher
I command you not to scream in pain as you die
I stand above you and I look down
I spend your freedom on my account
What need do you have that could equal mine
I am your leader and you are mine
A whisper
breeds rebellion
no treason from lips sewn shut
Far below they withdraw
for fear is compelling
where violence is the stock in trade
I feed you more lines and you swallow them
I dance on your graves and you writhe within
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you and look down
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I am your leader and you are mine
I command you
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you and look down
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I am your leader and you are mine
I stand above you
I spend your freedom for it is mine
