Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence

Completely ripping off the way [livejournal.com profile] tass commented on the quiz... =)
You are excellent with words and language. Why, thank you!. You explain yourself well. Overexplain, according to some.
An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly. Elegant writer, yes; elegant speaker, at times, but not usually. I can usually converse well with anyone because I have too damn many interests so there's always something they're passionate about that I enjoy.
You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view. Memory, alas, fails me far too much. Although I seem to be able to brainwash some of the people some of the time... I seem to have some difficulty in that area as well, usually when it matters most to me and they are of a wholly opposite frame of mind.
A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary. And that gives a perfect edgertonian glimpse into my mind.

You would make a fantastic poet Why, thank you, once more! And to think, the quiz hasn't even read any of my works!, journalist Editorials only - I'm too opinionated to be a good reporter, and too annoyingly idealistic to cram something allegedly objective into the readers mind when I know full well it isn't, writer I guess I don't separate this from "poet" that much, they're both writing, teacher Best way to learn something is to teach it, and I love learning, lawyer Stop insulting me!, politician Damnit, I said stop!, or translator Thank you, much better. Unfortunately, I butcher the hell out of accents, so this ain't my forte. Unless you need a translater between English and any number of programming languages, of course.

I got the same results as you did. I tend to think that by necessity, these things compartmentalize too easily. Then again, to have a well-rounded quiz that takes into consideration the shades of gray would have to have hundreds of questions.

I got the linguistic answer as well. I wonder if this test stems from from Gardner's work on multiplicities of intelligence, or whatever he called it.
