Talking to Myself
Feb. 9th, 2006 08:44 pmForgot to mention in the earlier post, when my ear was clearing on the ride in this morning I had to check how things were going, and the monologue went something like this:
"Testing, testing... 1, 2... 1, 2, 3... hey, hey yeh. Test, test. Can I have a little more treble in the left monitor... testing, test, test..."
In other news, Brandon is flipping the back cushions off the couch - Rachel showed him the trick (which was wear Deb used to hide the remotes - nowhere safe now!)
Rachel wants to sign up for softball - apparently, girls are only allowed to play softball in these here realms; baseball is only for boys.

Remind them that it's 2005 and not 1955 and crude messages like "softball is for girls and only boys play hardball" is not good for development of eithre of them. The converse message "Only wimpy girls play softball" is also something you want to avoid.

Coach-pitched softball is probably best for a first (or even first post-T-ball) experience for both genders.
