I posted a bunch of positively ancient photos - from all the way back in the early 1990's, for the most part.

This one - the obligatory cat photo - actually shows two cats, one who is world famous, no less.

Lesser known, but even dearer to my heart, is Tasslehoff Purrfoot (c.1990-1997), shown here with close associate and fellow troublemaker, Tiggr.

I really like the name. It seems he/she died young, that's too bad.

He/she is a good point - the critter had already been repaired prior to adopting us, and I don't think we ever received an informed opinion on what the pre-operative state was. We generally settled on 'he', which means my mom referred to him as 'she.'
