PFA - Pick Up the Pieces
Dec. 1st, 2008 08:12 amWrapping up the Philly Funk bit while continuing the R&B/funk set and starting a wee little set of Pick Up the Pieces, we have another clip from that same venue as the first two PFA videos.
This is a great tune for the horn section. It's stuff like this that gets me wanting to pick up the bass...

. Not much of a stretch for him to be playing tunes like Soul Man (which some sources list him as writing, others don't; my take on it: listen to the guitar riff: he co-wrote the tune and that's that! =).
