Sep. 24th, 2005 10:05 amBrandon can now communicate effectively - at least in regards to wanting more food! He signs "more" when he's shoved everything in his gob and is still hungry.
Went shopping last night - picked up pants for work, jeans, underwear, and socks. All those things are pretty much "standard issue" - some kind of khakis or chinos, Levi's 505, and so forth. Grabbed a couple of polo shirts, too - most of my shirts have the company logo, and most are either black, white, or navy blue, and I wanted a little variety. One is a neutralish (missed the official name o' the color) jacquard short sleeve, the other a merlot (saw that one!) sueded long sleeve.
Still waiting on getting the Taurus back - the brake lines rusted out - one of them completely - which would be why the car refused to stop nicely. I just had the brakes on the Contour done to pass inspection - 'tis the season for failing brakes, I guess.
Block party today - we'll head down there in a couple of hours.
My thoughts are with those in the hurricane's path - many on my flist and more than a dozen of our customer sites are in and around the danger zone.
