Oak Dust and Chainsaw Oil
Jan. 6th, 2011 03:31 pmDone with the tree for today.
All major wire crossings/tanglings are cleared, and the neighbor's fence is no longer in danger of being crushed.
Still some more work to do.
Most of the cutting was with the pole saw (12" bar and low power)so it's slow work. Also, standing on an 11' arborist ladder and balancing a 10-12' pole with a motor on one end and a saw at the other really wipes out your upper body. Arms will be sore for a while. It will be good to get some more work in tomorrow... might help convince my arms to get in better shape!
Anthony had fun as well, and enjoyed the work, which bodes well for him being one of my employees when we start things up down here.
