Oct. 25th, 2005 08:01 pmJust finished bathing the baby... in time for It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
In the bath, though, Brandon played several games:
This is cool, because usually his baths tend to be short - because he stands up too frequently. This was the first time he actually played games - he went back to a few of them several times.
In the bath, though, Brandon played several games:
- Toot, toot! Slide the tugboat into the tub - many brave crewmembers were lost, but several survived
- Drink soapy tub water from the bucket - this stopped after one bucketworth went down the wrong tube
- Splash like crazy - out of all the games, this was the only one he played before; he's quite good, but still manages to keep the most of the bathwater in the tub. I expect sooner or later he'll become almost as skilled as his sister was (Calvin could have taken lessons from her.)
- Wash the tub with the round ducky head sponge - the really cool thing was he found the sponge in the closet and held it out to me saying "Eh!" which means, "We're using this whether you like it or not!"
- Quack, quack! Slide the duck into the tub - a variation that results in much less (i.e. absolutely no) loss of tugboat crew lives
- Bite the head off the ducky - the ducky won this round, but we'll try again when we get more teeth
This is cool, because usually his baths tend to be short - because he stands up too frequently. This was the first time he actually played games - he went back to a few of them several times.
