Let it snow!

After seeing (and replying to) linithiliel complaining about how unfair it is that they have snow in the forecast, and how terrible it is that she doesn't want to share it and wants to keep it all for herself (hey, interpretive reading at its best!), I decided to go check our own forecast...

Lo, and verily, behold:

... A few inches of snow possible late tonight at higher elevations...

The extent of the colder air is uncertain... but if snow does
develop it could accumulate from 3 to 5 inches at the highest
locations in Carbon and Monroe counties... and 2 to 4 inches in
Sussex County New Jersey. Lower elevations... below 1ooo ft... will
likely see just rain.

Ok, now I hate you both. Today is the first day I've needed so much as a jacket outside. And snow, in Louisiana? Don't make me laugh.

Hey, I'm willing to share, it's linithiliel who wants to keep it all to herself! I mean, I might get 3-5", and that's only because I live in a pocket of mountainshills, with a lake nearby... but she might get 6 inches or more!

Of course, there's always the slight possibility that I might be mistaken, and she thinks - for some strange, unknown reason - that snow is bad, and it's not fair that she has any whatsoever... =)

The cold front NOLAWitch and I were talking about dropped our current temperature down to 60F, damn cold for me.

Per Yahoo:

High: 69°
Low: 41

Do you know how much colder that is than last week?!?!

Oh, I'm in Houston, she's in New Orleans of course, we just have simular weather a couple a days apart most of the time.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of other folks in Nawlins and so on were mentioning how cold it was this morning.

We're not that bad off - a balmy 46.9F at the moment, here on the edge of the Pocono HillsMountains!

It seems to have warmed up a lot in the last few hours. =)

I just got off the phone with a friend from Orlando and he mentioned that it was supposed to go down to 48 there tonight. He seemed to think that it was unfair that he was just outside cleaning up after a tropical storm but it is going to be what he considers practically arctic in temperature tonight. (
