The Assabet River (along with the Sudbury and Concord Rivers) was the setting for a few canoe trips back in high school. Didn't see any coyotes back in those days...

Finally, after 8 days, I'm back on the 'net! I missed reading your blog; it is the first site I looked up once today's machinations allowed access.
Now I've caught up and glad I am.

BTW, since them critters patrol the Charles River and the Assabet R. is not too far away, I bet you'd find evidence of them along all the above.
