ellyssianI'll be reading poetry tonight at the Moravian Book Shop - the Poetry Circle meets on the second Friday of every month. Someday, I'll actually remember to provide advanced notice... =)
Despite the fact that the previous two Augusts were incredibly productive poetry-wise, I've only written two new pieces since the August Poetry Circle. I just haven't been taking the time to sit down and transcribe whatever I see or what I'm thinking about. Need to do some of that soon, because after a while it gets a bit cold to sit out on the porch and type - if only there was a way to diffuse the heat of the laptop through the keys...
This Sunday, Brandon will celebrate his first birthday, which means the next time I get film developed there will probably be some of him covered with cake/cupcake/brownie/not-sure-yet. This doesn't help people who can't look at the pictures in my house - I still don't have some scanned from the last roll, which included the May and June Kiwi pictures.
