Mr. B: "But mommy has to come up and give me eskimo kisses"

{ Mommy's patience are more then runneth over, after several other attempts to avoid bed }

Deb: "I'll give you eskimo kisses tomorrow."

Mr. B: "But I need eskimo kisses now, why won't mommy come up?"

Me: "You're up way past your bedtime, she already gave you hugs and kisses, you need to stay in bed now..."

Deb: "If I come up there, there will be yelling."

Mr. B: "What is the matter with her?"

{I look away so he doesn't see me trying not to laugh.}

Mr. B: "Go ask her what is the matter with her..."

{Comes around corner, chipmunk cheeks full of garlic chives...}

Deb: Shhhhhh...

Looked like he had a mouthful o' chewing tobacco before he did some load-balancing. That was when I realized why he had disappeared around the corner.

Other hijinks ensued, even after he was standing in the corner to think about what he had done.

Mr. B: "I thought about what I did, can I go now?"
Me: "And what exactly were you thinking about?"
Mr. B: "I don't know. What was I supposed to be thinking about?"
