And here he is, ladies and gentleman, the one and only Lowell George, leading Little Feat with Rock And Roll Doctor from the album Feats Don't Fail Me Now:

And speaking of buying Little Feat albums, of which I spoke of yesterday, one of these days I'm going to have to check out some of their other work... I've had Feats Don't Fail Me Now on vinyl since the mid seventies, probably not all that long after it came out in 1974. Back then, the two tunes that stood out the most were yesterday and today's video selections. Now when I listen to it, on CD of course, the other songs which didn't interest me quite as much as a child are held in much higher esteem. This disc is a must-have.

My favorite Little Feat record is still Sailin' Shoes, with Dixie Chicken coming in a close second.

Yeah, I did what I could ~ closest I could come to putting my money where my mouth is was to add a bunch of the Little Feat discs to my wish list.

I think this is actually my favorite Little Feat recording, and you can get it right now. :-)

I'll check it out ~ although I'd still have to get a CD eventually. I listen to this kind of media only slightly more than Lowell George did! Yeah, been using Apple products since the first introduced the Macintosh, and I don't ever expect to own an iPod (or any other flavor of that kind of device). At least not until I don't have any other choice. =)

Just to the solo break in Rock and Roll Doctor, and this is a great recording... wow...
