Friends in UK

ellyssianStill haven't heard from at least two friends in the UK - one of them more likely to be in London than the other.
Hopefully all is well with them, and that the situation over there improves.
The news over here is filled with talking heads "refusing to speculate", and using a lot of "possible"s and "maybe"s as they repeat otherwise identical information and speculation over and over.

All present and accounted for - everyone I was concered about has checked in, either in LJ or over on TH. Some relief, anyway.
