Yet more mushroom pictures!

Okay, it's been about a year since the last crop...

This one - horn of plenty mushrooms along with moss - is right in the middle of the bunch. You can see the rest if them if you click through to Flickr.

What are these? Are they edible?

ETA: OK, I clicked through to the photo before reading the whole post. They're really cool!

We have a version of porcini growing in our yard sometimes, but I'm just irrationally nervous about harvesting them. Thought the squirrels etc. thrive on the things, and we did try them once. I should get over my nervousness. :)

Yeah, I haven't harvested any of them. I'm not positive on my positive IDs. Even these, which we are 100% positive on, we haven't tried eating.

These are horn of plenty, and they're considered quite edible.

Still. I'll eat the blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, wintergreen berries, and sassafras leaves... but I won't touch the 'shrooms. =)
