Date: 2008-01-10 02:42 am (UTC)And I was reading your posts about your back...have you ever considered doing yoga? I know your time is limited, but you might want to consider it. You don't have to go to a studio, you can always get a dvd (::gets off her yoga soapbox::) =)

Date: 2008-01-10 02:53 am (UTC)Went to a chiropractor when I first moved down here and he had me stop all outside workouts, and the flexibility was never the same again. As soon as I can, I'd like to pick up on it again. A lot of the workout program that I have is based on yoga (and pilates, and other stuff).

Date: 2008-01-10 02:52 pm (UTC)Currently, I have to get up at 5:30am, and I'm pressed for time. The CPAP has helped with the sleep, but I can't cut into time any further.

Date: 2008-01-10 03:44 pm (UTC)Option #1 is out any time Mr. B or Deb is awake - one climbs on you and distracts you from counting, the other has the television on and can't see with you in the middle. Option #2 is somewhat seasonal and reliant upon the weather conditions.
We've an eye towards making the cellar usable for such things - Deb's still not confident in the air quality, and there are a lot of other critical projects ahead of it.

Date: 2008-01-10 04:14 pm (UTC)Winter St. was built 100 years ago - I used to do my workout in the living room there. Here, the family room is the only finished room with a solid enough floor - the rest of the house can't handle the running in place and scissor jumps too well, and that sort of thing is critical.
We'd like to get a treadmill for the walking/running bit, but we have no place to put it at the moment. We'll work it out in time.
