ellyssian- Brandon is talking lots and getting more articulate. He's also getting a bit ornery in his old age: "Me don't have to" and "don't yell at me" are two new phrases. He likes to "go ride in car" and, whenever we're not letting him watch Veggie Tales, he insists "me go up to room." He's not sleeping overnight in his room yet, because we don't have rails on the large bed and can't find the hardware to fit together the crib-sized bed. He sings along with the Veggie Tales theme song. He's got a brand new haircut and it makes him look older - one might think he is 3 or 4 instead of a mere 2.5! He just fell on his nose. Apparently, he was trying to pull his pants on all by himself, and the slippery kitchen floor conspired against him. He likes to go outside, now that the weather is nicer, and he can actually say "outside." He likes mushrooms. He gets all sad when his stuffed animal dinosaur (that makes crying-like bleating noises when squeezed
- Rachel is battling long division and sometimes she wins and sometimes she doesn't. Despite much drama while studying for a major test, she got 100%, missing only two bonus questions.
- Justin has a job. He works at a skate rink renting out skates. I don't think I mentioned it, but he's much more skilled with the car, able to turn it around in the driveway and relocate it as needed (which came up while we were clearing snow - he took care of the cars while I took care of the rest).
- I brought some reviews over that I wrote a while ago. Will post them soon. There's a lot more I need to write, but working on a family-shared computer, I don't have much time. No actual writing - poetry or short fiction or otherwise - has happened for the same reason. Likely not to have any writing until I get a laptop; not likely to get a laptop for a while. Of course, I'll also be able to write when Justin moves out and I turn his bedroom into an office. The laptop is likely to happen first. Sitting right next to the TV while everyone is watching and talking just isn't conducive to writing - another reason even updatia posts like this have fallen behind.

She does show me the pictures, once in a while, at least!
