a storm
not long enough
on the horizon
all too soon whirling
thundering
through my soul
until i whisper it away
waves
pounding upon
mountains
to rocks
to pebbles
to sand
until i whisper it away
breath
stilled
or torn rasping
waiting
in silence
until i'm whispered away
