That is just awful. We were thinking about visiting there in a couple of weeks (we're going to be in Stroudsburg for a wedding and it wouldn't be much of a drive from there).
If that "in a couple of weeks" provides free time on the 14th, be sure to stop by our hawk watch (at Bake Oven Knob) and dinner afterwards (fajitas and quesadillas!) (I'll be posting details on it soon)
Sorry to read about the fire -- the worst is the loss of it to the community for all sorts of reasons, What I didn't know but found out is that there is a CJ in 4 other towns like Hazelton and Quakerstown -- don't remember the others.
On the 14th I'll bre celebrating the selling of the house on at 10am, the 13th. Oh, but first the fire dept. must certify I have the proper smoke and CO detectors in the building...2 family home! And get a final water bill and provide a copy of the purchase and sale agreement to Ken the estate lawyer so he can pass it on to the tax people. Thank goodness my lawyer is on the job or I'd not have known to do that and Water Dept Sue said that most owner sales sans R.E, people, don't know to do this and so get delayed a lot.
Our Willie Nelson neighbor (actually, Joe and partner Irene) got a trunkful of electronics and wires yesterday; but don't worry, you'd never notice if I didn't tell you! He's 67 and a cancer survivor and Irene was not exactly thrilled, saying "our basement is going to iook like this one". We decided this amassing of tools and stuff is due to men's wiring!!! LOL LOL!
