Date: 2006-09-22 12:46 pm (UTC)She had a chart with three columns: Animal, Tally, and Total.
As for the graphs, I can't remember when she started doing them, but I think they start simplistic ones in kindergarten.

Date: 2006-09-22 12:55 pm (UTC)Piglet lives in a beech tree that has a sign near it that is partially broken off. It says "TRESPASSERS WIL" and Piglet explains that was the name of his grandfather, which was short for Trespassers William. They called him Trespassers W, which was shorter, and his grandmother called him TW which is even shorter.
Many adventures later, after floods have driven them all to higher ground, Eeyore is out searching for a new house for Owl, whose old place had been blown over in the storm. Eeyore finds a place and leads them to Piglet's house.
Eeyore comments that the house already has Owl's name on it - reading "wil" as "W O L, that spells owl." To which the very educated Owl says something like "Well, bless my soul, so it does."
