patrixa will be getting in tomorrow. Tonight, Justin and I will be going to see PotC.
Saturday will be the July cookout - a Run What Ya Brung event. We'll be adding some skirt steak for fajitas and some other unknown steak. You're welcome to stick with the steak theme, or supply some other kind of grillable main dish, portions sized for the number of people you're bringing. If you need directions, just ask here (and supply an e-mail addy if I don't already have it) or e-mail me at ellyssian at gmail dot com, and I'll send them off ASAP.
Fun weekend - Justin, Brandon, and I had a Guys Day on Saturday. Somehow we wound up spending part of it shopping. Gasp. Deb was meeting with her cousindragonflypug and her sister and, all of them went off to see Joan Bon Jovi and Pickletrack down in Philly. We met up briefly at the Border's, and then headed over to the Kohl's to exchange a pair of my pants and for Deb to pick up a few things. A bit before that, I went to Eyeland to get some new contacts - the current pair of pairs are about 4-5 years old. Apparently keeping them so long has resulted in some tissue damage, but my prescription is still improved over the glasses I got maybe 8 years ago.
Naturally, for a Guys Day we had gourmet food - Justin and I got some BK double stackers and Brandon had the cheeseburger kids meal. We spent Brandon's nap time playing DaVinci's Challenge and discovering Project Gipf and Funagain Games. When Brandon was up, we had a small snack supper - still pretty full from lunch - and watched some Fraggle Rock. Once Brandon was in bed for the night, we watched Wizards - Justin's first time seeing the film.
Sunday, Justin and I got to play a few more games - some quoits and a set of kubb. We also played Gf1 - "Gipf for 1" - have to remember to send off a postcard in exchange for the game.
