Steve Vai - Little Wing

Okay, we started off the Little Wing set with Steve Vai - along with Joe Satriani & Yngwie Malmsteen - and now, since we're almost done with the set, we'll almost end with him...

This performance features a clean tone and a mellower pace than the G3 video, and that really shows Vai at his best. When the solo kicks in, it does so with a wee bit of controlled overdrive but the clarity remains.

In Hot Water

So that wasn't so painful...

Turns out our pre-softener water ate the copper pipe feeding the water heater. I mildly suspect, perhaps, some improper methods of attaching aforementioned heater when it was replaced four years ago.

Keep in mind, the house itself will be six years old this Winter...

Anyway, it was fixed in short order, and we now have hot water.

Which is useful.
