Vacation! and other updatia
Mar. 4th, 2006 12:11 pmNot me, Deb. And, with a sad note, the destination (and at least partial itinerary) was selected for her. She went down to her brother Jeff's house around 4am or so, and then they headed off to other brother Jay's, in Quincy MA. A friend (Deb, Jeff, Jay)/co-worker (Jay)/former co-worker (Jeff) lost his wife a few days ago, and the wake is tomorrow. I didn't get a specific cause of death or an age - the latter is somewhere in the early to mid-forties and, for the former, they think it was something to do with diabetes and several other issues that she had but was not being treated for (or ignoring her treatment.)
So it's just me and the kids this weekend. Rachel is dealing with her cough, Justin is catching it, and Brandon's leg didn't bleed *too* much, so we're doing good. =)
We're listening to music with organ, chorus, and other forbidden instruments, and we're listening at an approximation of proper listening volume (adjusted down because kids are present,) so we're having fun. Brandon loves organ stuff - he bops around everytime it thunders along.
We're probably going to head down to the store-formerly-known-as-Vyagra - they closed on Tuesday, and will be tearing things down this weekend. Been a while since I stopped by - hell, been a while since I bought a cd there, so I'm at least partially at fault - so I'd like to get one last chance. Depends on how Rachel (and now Justin) do with that cough though. We do have to head out anyway, to pick up some Robitussin D and flouride pills for the kids, so we'll see.
Anywho, Brandon has a rather odorific diaper that needs tending to, so I'm off...
