Snow! Started with a few flakes here and there, and now it's visibility=100'. Definitely colder than it's been - yesterday was a beautiful spring day, for the most part.
One of our clients from Texas stopped by for a visit - a handful of us took him to Bethlehem Brew Works, and then the younger ones continued on to a night of bar-hopping. Well, one hop, at least - not sure about any others, as I headed over to Vyagra. Been quite a long time since I made my usual Friday night visit - seems Fridays get the most disruption - and it will be next week at the earliest, as I arrived after closing.
While I would have liked to hang out a bit longer (and discuss non-work related things, such as guitars! =) bars are a bit of a strange thing for me to visit. The smoke irritates the asthma and the ear - yeah, the ear problems are still lingering - feels like someone boxed it, kind of a dull annoyance. For two years now, I've been on a one-drink-a-day limit due to the blood pressure. Not much of a limit for me, as I certainly averaged far less than that over the course of a year, and, on times I would drink, rarely had more than one or two a day anyway. I'm sure that when I see the doctor on Thursday he will tell me that the drink limit is now zero - alcohol and liver problems just don't seem to mix well.
