We gots goodies!
Nov. 2nd, 2005 07:31 pmOur Animusic DVD arrived today - it was our membership gift for supporting PBS. Neat synth music, fairly proggy, with computer animation of "invented instruments." I love this kind of stuff - computer animation, the music itself (although, yeah, I do generally enjoy acoustic and non-synthesized electric instruments a bit more), "music video" as a medium, and so on. I'm hoping they release that software - although I still have to get some good MIDI stuff. Bunch of symphonies rattling around in my head, and I'm not talented enough to write them out without hearing them played, and very few symphony orchestras have been willing to come by and help me work them out.
Also got a shipment of Stash teas - lots of their chai green tea (which I will somewhat excuse from being named, essentially, "tea green tea") which is excellent stuff, a small sampler of their Exotica line (including an Earl Grey!), and a larger sampler of green teas. I'll now have a variety for my nightly green tea, and some more for other times as well. Justin and I each had a cup of Exotica Dragonwell Green Tea tonight - there were 2 bags in the small sampler, and 10 in the larger one, so I thought that would make a good starting point. It's an excellent blended tea, and I wouldn't mind more, but it's not a "got-to-have-it", although there's still 10 more servings, so it might grow on me! =)
In completely unrelated news, Brandon discovered he gots goodies, too... or something pretty fascinating, anyway. He was sitting in the tub, looking down between his legs, then he'd reach down give it a little tweak and then look up quizically, and then repeat. Many, many times.
