If you're in the Eastern PA area and interested in learning how to play guitar - or improving existing skills - I'm offering guitar lessons nights and weekends. My focus will be on supplying tools that can be applied to any style or level of playing. These technical exercises will be accompanied by improvisational practice, listening studies, and other methods tailored to your needs to provide you with a full spectrum of skills. At this point, lessons will be offered at my residence, but other possibilities can be discussed. In the future, I may be able to offer lessons at a music facility in Allentown, and I hope to have some materials available for use via the web.
Landscaping Design
In a somewhat similar vein, I am offering landscape design and advice - I will help you design a landscape to fit your yard, budget, and maintenance needs. My interests center around shrubs and trees, woodland gardens, native plants, and foliage plants. As this is much more of a hobby than a profession for me (at this time), my rates will be quite reasonable! =)
Computer Programming
In case you haven't gathered by now (! =), I'm in need of supplementing my income as a programmer analyst. Albeit a bit reluctantly, I am willing to offer up said programming skills as well - I've done everything from assemble & soldering components together, assembling PCs, installing OS's, building networks, object and relational database design, to programming and designing application software - and, yes, even designing and implementing web sites. Caveat here is that if you're a small government or K-12 school district, I can't help you. Anything else, however, I'd be willing to discuss (my main reason for reluctance in this area is that I don't have the facilities at home to do this manner of work - so some amount of 'on location' would be needed.)
