Rant-o-Rama: SUV Headlights
Dec. 8th, 2004 07:51 amI would like to take a set of headlights and mount them to the roof of my car.
Then I can pull up behind those damnable Lincoln Navigators et al and blind the hell out of them.
18-wheelers have headlights lower to the ground than most SUVs.
Fine, you bought an SUV. You spend more on gas because you need more gallons to get anywhere. You're heavier, and you put more wear-and-tear on the roads (in fact, you are illegal in certain/all? munincipalities in California/other places? on certain/all? residential roads, not that it's enforced.)
But you're a dangerous distraction. You prevent me from seeing when you pull up behind me and those damn floodlights fill my car.
Mount the headlights lower, or don't drive on the roads at night. Or in the rain.
