The River

The River

River dances
Singing stone
Falling water
Calling home
Slow it rolls
Flowing drowsily
Under arched bridge
Beneath tower's watch
Ashes fall
Grey and white
Billowing cloud
Separate yet together
Creating a whole
Watching it flow
Racing as one
Over the falls
Gone and away
Forever and ever
Running with the river
Basking in the fireworks glow
