Can't say as much for the trucker on I-80 who made a straight when the road made a left-right-left - saw the tail end of the flatbed trailer sticking up in the air like the Titanic's stern; not sure what was at the bottom of the incline, road? stream? just a ditch? I can understand the confusion at the location - when I first saw all the flashing lights, I changed to the left lane to give them room. Turns out, all the lights were on the median strip to my left. Oh well, back in the right lane for me, but not for the trucker.

Still tired - was around 2:30am before I got into bed this morning.

patrixa's post after we left last night reminds me: anyone in the Boston area who wants scrap wood (some good, some bad, and some ugly) or electronics or electrical parts (wires, capacitors, and other assorted junk) let me know. My mom will be having a "yard sale" (quoted because it may be more of a "take what you want" giveaway) some time in the late spring for lots of stuff that is new in packages, or at least in decent enough condition that some hobbyist or contractor may find it usable.

Is any of this scrap wood burnable? Either inside or outside in a fire pit?

All of it is, some of it is probably nicer quality - bits and pieces of lumber stock and so forth.

Hmm.. maybe we can take some off of her hands then. I actually talked to her about 2 weeks ago on the phone, and was going to give her a call this week. We had mentioned something about Jimmy and I bringing the kids by to meet her, and everyone is on vacation this week. I'll give her a call tomorrow.
