Happy Christmas Eve!
Dec. 24th, 2005 05:18 pmThe stuffed shells are in the oven! I repeat, the stuffed shells are in the oven!
Yummy cheesy goodness coming soon!
Hope you're all having a great night, no matter what tradition or absence thereof that you're celebrating or not!
Rachel had a fun day yesterday, despite a creeping little cold, and our meal at Marblehead was delicious. We had fried calamari and the ladies each had a cup of seafood chowder for appetizers. We went with more of a lunch menu thing, considering it was lunch, and the full meal would probably have been too much food. Rachel and I had the fish n' chips; Deb had a fried seafood basket; Justin went the furthest out on a limb and had tuna, bacon, and cheddar on a croissant. Rachel had the kid-sized meal, which came with desert, so she had a scoop of huckleberry ice cream.
Unfortunately, I'll have to take the place off our team lunch list at work - traffic on Easton Ave/William Penn Highway is too much at that time of day, and even with the increase to $12 a person, the menu choices would be far too limited/non-existent. Which, of course, is too bad, because it was good!
Tonight we'll be watching A Year without a Santa Claus and opening presents from each other, and then going to bed in preparation for the arrival of Santa.
Peace, love, and good happiness!
