• Happy Day-After Solstice! Missed it yesterday, intended to post at night, but Deb had some last minute birthday/Christmas errands to run, and us kids wound up watching Rudolph. Well, all of us were watching except Brandon. Hmmm, that means Justin and I were chasing Brandon. I did see some of the movie, really I did. Something about bumbles and bouncing...


• My dad went to see the oncologist an hour or so ago, and is probably still there. Hope to hear back from them soon. The nurses advised taking my brother along, although for physical or emotional support, my mom wasn't sure.


• Had our office holiday luncheon today - not too many folks in today, so we didn't overflow the small conference room *that* much


• Rachel stayed home from school today - hopefully, she'll feel better tomorrow; no fun being sick on your birthday! Not really sure what's wrong - looks like cold symptoms, she complains she ate too much chocolate yesterday; then again, she went on a big dramatic "I hate myself!" kick after getting out of the shower, and I'm still not sure what triggered that. She blamed it partially on never being able to do anything right, which she later defined specifically as being sick and missing school because there was some event she wanted to attend today, and partially on not having bought anyone a christmas gift yet. I think that latter one was further clarified when she pointed out that her Best Friend^TM gave her a gift yesterday, and she didn't give anything in return.


• Need to remember to stop by Carvel and pick up Rachel's birthday cake!
