Today's tune ~ meant to be the third of the set, but record company execs and lawyers don't want you to hear David Bowie's performance of it ~ is covered by the English band Anathema. The band got their start as a death/doom metal band ~ actually, they are one of the three bands that is considered to have created that subgenre. After their original lead vocalist left the band, they headed into more of an atmospheric rock direction, with loads and loads of Floydian influence. Although they don't have it on album, they've been performing Floyd's Comfortably Numb, from The Wall, as part of their live show for some time.

There's a few copies of this performance posted, so it's most likely the same that I had found before, but... I really thought that performance was earlier (looked nearly like the Serious Moonlight tour) and was Gilmourless...
