"Apparently" - as in "Apparently, I left my toy in the other room."

This is balanced out by the leading-letters syndrome:

"ape" - as in "That's a triangle ape" or "What's that ape called?"

"lip lops" - as in "I'm wearing my lip lops outide."

"outide" - where Mr. B wants to be when he's inide

"tab" - what one does with a fork and food: "I tabbed the chicken."

My favorite, though, is still the previously reported "plobally", which is still heavily used.

"plobally"

Oh, no, at 2 years and 11 months old, his education level (i.e. zip, zero, zilch, nada, none at all) is much higher than the average netizen. =)

Okay.

And what, pray tell, is a "triangle ape" anyway ;-)?

I'm afraid that my education is somewhat lacking, compared to your 2year old...

It's a three sided ape, of course. The letter A has a triangle aped upper portion.

We worked on saying: "shhhhh-ape" and he could get the two separately, but anytime prompted, he would short ort-circuit back to "ape". For some reason, he has no problem with "sharky" though. =)

Oh - *plunk*

Penny dropped now - thanks ;-).

My coworker's 4year old is struggling with his r. Kind of a shame for a (VERY cute) little "Fellali" - fan :-P.

Hmmm... introduce the poor child to Lamborghinis, and that will quickly become a thing of the past!

Better then what Jamie used to say. Jesse would call chocolate crullers from Dunkin "chocolate poo poo sticks". Jamie thought it was cute only he used to ask for a "chocolate poo poo dick"

*laughs*

My favorite of Zing's (along the "tab" line) was when we were teaching him names of food-related items.

What's this, bud?

It's a pyate!

How about this?

It's a 'poon!

What's this one?

It's a 'tabbit!

???

STAB-IT

No, buddy, you don't scoop with that one, you stab it.

Ooooohhhh, now I get it.

Adorable Nephew said 'noonles', for noodles. It has definitely stuck.

These are great.
