Depends on the cut you're grilling and the spices and/or sauces in use. I find I prefer a nice Riesling in most cases.
2. Who is your favorite movie villain?
Probably James Earl Jones as Darth Vader.
3. What keeps you awake at night?
Lack of sleep, usually.
4. Have you ever found yourself enjoying something you'd never admit to because it is taboo?
No, not at all. Never. (What, you expect me to admit to that? =)
5. What is the hardest job you've ever performed?
Plumbing. Hate it. And, not only that, I've never been paid for doing it... I expect a big wad of cash would make it slightly less abhorrent. But not all that much.
6. What is the toughest thing you ever had to tell someone?
Goodbye.
7. If you could live in any time and have any job, where would you go and what would you be?
Whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.
8. What would be your superhero name?
Already got one: The Green Man. =)
9. You've got 24 hours reserved on the holodeck. What's the plan?
They running any good movies?
10. The person on the other side of the door is anyone you want it to be. Who is it?
Don't know ~ better have a look through that peephole and see if they should stay on that side or be let in...
11. Have you ever lied to a private brain care specialist?
No.
12. Have you ever been in a parade? Would you like to be?
Yes. Not particularly.
13. What is the worst song you've ever heard?
My mom made a habit of singing songs on every subject, and I expect it was one of those.

15. Name and describe a unique place everyone should visit before they die.

16. Who made the best sandwich you ever ate and what kind of sandwich was it?
Luckily, there's been quite a few of them. A place down in Hickory NC does some really great sandwiches. There's a deli in west Allentown PA that makes the best pastrami on rye. The first time I had Quiznos in Irving TX, that was a revelation. Cheesesteaks at Jim's on South Street. A good Italian cold cut sub from most anywhere will really hit the spot, provided they're not entirely incompetent.
17. If you had to sacrifice someone on your friends list in order to save the planet, which friend would you choose?
I wouldn't pick someone. I might ask for volunteers, but I couldn't pick anyone. Except, if I had to, my self.
18. The measure of a man is his _____.
toolbox. Or on his truck. I actually have four measures on the truck (a triangular ruler, a 20' tape, a 300' tape, and a measuring wheel) on the truck. I have a few other measures downstairs in the toolbox, plus there's a couple of those triangular rulers lying around, and a yardstick or two.
19. What's a door that you will never again open in this life?
There's a whole bunch in the house I grew up in, the place I lived after that, and the four other places I've lived in PA that I don't expect I'll ever see, let alone get a chance to open, again.
20. Is there a political office you would consider campaigning for?
No.
21. Worst day you ever had?
I think if I try to name one, there'd be a competition to see if something could do worse, so I'll refrain from answering this one.

I've been lucky enough to have quite a few.

The day after the penultimate day.

Earlier today. Watching my daughter doing some artwork.
